We, Putra Perdana Construction Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Putrajaya Perdana Berhad, a well-established main board public listed company is seeking suitable individuals who are hardworking, enthusiastic and self-motivated to be part of our organisation for the following positions:

Safety & Health Supervisor
Job Descriptions:

-To ensure the health and safety procedures are followed and all statutory requirements are fulfilled.
-To implement health and safety program at project site.
-To enforce the use of personal protection equipment, and improve existing method of working.
-To enforce provision of fire fighting equipment and first aid kits at work.
-To attend to emergency situations involving the health, lives and securities of workmen.
-To determine the cause of accident and recommend means of prevention.
-To identify and rectify any unusual or hazardous construction method.
-To audit the health, safety and security measures at work sites.
-To monitor the movement of workers, materials, goods, plant and machinery into and out of the project sites.

Job Requirements:
-Possess Diploma/Certificate in Occupational, Safety and Health qualification. Those without the relevant qualifications but with 4 years’ experience in the construction industry can also be considered.
-Must possess relevant certified competency certificate endorsed by NIOSH.
-Must be fully conversant with various government legislation that relates to safety work practices at project sites.
-Age 25 – 30 years’ with minimum 2 – 4 years’ working experience preferably from a building and construction industry in a similar position.
-Conversant in bilingual languages, namely English and Bahasa Malaysia.
-Have good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with strong inclination towards quality management practices.
-Knowledgeable in ISO 9001: 2000 Standard and provide unlimited support for the implementation and on-going maintenance for the Company’s Quality System.
-Must be dynamic, a team player, committed and result-oriented.
-Must have the ability and personality to drive and motivate team to achieve common goals.
-Exposure in turnkey projects will be an added advantage.

Draughtsman

Job Descriptions:

-To assist Planning Manager / Planning Engineer in the storage, retrieval and reproduction of construction drawings, shop drawings and as-built drawings.

Job Requirements:
-Minimum 2 years experience in M & E / C & S / Architectural draughting.
-Must be able to use R13 and the newer version of AutoCAD.

Follow Up

1. Skills based questions
These job interview questions are related to specific job skills outlined in essential criteria. Candidates are asked to give examples of their work, or outline their duties and performance in key roles.
2.Knowledge based questions

5.Interpersonal skills questions

7.The selection process
Interviewers select the candidate who meets all job criteria to an acceptable standard. The panel then makes a recommendation for appointment to management.
