PEOPLESOFT TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
Key Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of a Business Intelligence system and structure, including KPIs and dashboards, to allow senior management more effective decision making capabilities.
- Design and develop reports for ongoing financial and managerial monitoring, including development of a management reporting system for executive-level review of UNU financial and operating performance.
- Provide technical support in the integration of ATLAS with other UNU computer systems
- Provide technical and functional application support of the ATLAS Financials modules to the business community.
- Assist in implementation of new modules, including Treasury, Asset Management, Billing, and Contracts.
Key Requirements
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or an equivalent field of study.
- Substantive (minimum 5 years) technical experience in PeopleSoft Financials with knowledge of version 9.0 architecture. Experience with version 8.4 or later is required at a minimum.
- Familiarity with ATLAS or another United Nations agency ERP system is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of PeopleSoft core applications including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Projects, and Purchasing. Experience with Commitment Control, Treasury, Grants, Contracts, and Billing is a plus.
- Strong grasp of SQL and familiarity with PeopleSoft Financials data model.
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft reporting tools including SQR, Crystal Reports, nVision, PSQuery, and XML/BI Publisher.
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, preferable Oracle BI Publisher is essential.
- Excellent oral and written English language proficiency is required. Working knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.
